The Oscar-winning actor/director/writer/musician Billy Bob Thornton blends roots rock, country, and folk and traces his music career back to learning drums at the tender age of nine years old. After performing throughout high school, Thornton went on to play in several groups and has opened for Hank Williams Jr. and Ted Nugent and preformed on a Warren Zevon Grammy-winning album.
