This New Year's Eve, The Orpheum is once again hosting The Bluff City Ball, featuring North Mississippi Allstars, Lucero, Amy Lavere, and Jim Dickinson.
Local boys The North Mississippi Allstars, who put a new spin on traditional north Mississippi hill country blues, have been nominated for three Grammy awards (Best Contemporary Blues Album: 2001, 2003 & 2006).
Lucero, another homegrown act, is acclaimed for their blend of country and rock.
