A HOLIDAY TRADITION, THE NUTCRACKER PRESENTED BY MOSCOW CLASSICAL BALLET AND THE FLORIDA ORCHESTRA WILL BE AT RUTH ECKERD HALL FOR THREE PERFORMANCES THIS WEEKEND.
Join us for a holiday tradition this Saturday, December 20 at 2 & 8 pm and Sunday, December 21 at 2 pm by attending a performance of The Nutcracker. In its exclusive Florida engagement, the prestigious Moscow Classical Ballet offers a new interpretation of this classic based on E.T.A. Hoffman’s 1816 fairytale.
The choreography is based on the original work of Vasily Vainonen from 1934, updated by current choreographers Kasatkina and Vasilyov but true to the initial concept. The Florida Orchestra will enhance the artistry, precision and grace of the dancers.
