STATE COLLEGE, PA (September 2, 2009) – Live Nation presents the American Saturday Night Tour, featuring Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley and Jimmy Wayne, coming Friday, October 23 to Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center.
Paisley, a Grammy Award winner and one of the most respected singer/songwriters in country music, is out in support of his latest studio album, American Saturday Night. The album, which proves once again that Paisley remains a master of his craft, includes the hit single, “Then,” which became the artist’s tenth consecutive #1 single, and his 14th overall.
A triple threat recognized as one of the finest singers, songwriters, and guitar slingers of his generation, Paisley has charted 24 singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, and each of his first seven studio albums have been certified Gold or higher by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Joining Paisley at the Bryce Jordan Center will be Dierks Bentley, one of today’s most successful and relevant country singers. The Phoenix, Arizona native is out in support of Feel That Fire, his fifth studio album, which was released this past February. The album’s title track was quick to climb the charts and become the artist’s sixth #1 single. “Sideways,” the album’s second single, followed in suit, also reaching the top of the country charts.
The American Saturday Night Tour also introduces Jimmy Wayne, a North Carolina native who has been making quite the name for himself lately. Wayne, who released his self-titled debut album back in 2003, has found his greatest success with his second and most recent production. Do Your Believe Me Now hit stores in August of 2008, and the album’s title track became Wayne’s first ever #1 single. Overall, the up-and-coming country artist has already had five singles land in the Top-10 on the Billboard country charts.
